Moral of the story…bid big early and get your targets, because free agency gets crazy after about 2 days.
It does need fixed, but every proposal will just get voted down, no matter how great of an idea they are.

Re: 2023 RULES: Trades covering portion of salary
I voted no, basically because too many GMs are constantly looking for loopholes to take advantage of the spirit of the game(can't prevent them all unfortunately). I can just see this getting out of hand quickly. Perhaps if it's limited then maybe. If not we will see even more ungodly FA contracts so...

Re: 2023 RULES: Bids
I think LTCs for QBs are too low. Look at the Mahomes and Allen contracts...they are much lower than they would be IRL. I also agree that signing a backup QB to LTC isn't exactly the spirit of why LTCs were put into place.

Re: 2023 RULES: Grades
I changed my thinking on this and think we should only use Madden. I understand the criticism with how they grade but it seems like incorporating PFF is a lot of effort for not much impact. In most cases we are talking about a 1 or 2 point grade difference. Disagree. Not that I think the work is ne...

Re: 2023 RULES: Grades
My only complaint with Madden grades is that they seem a lot more inconsistent for trench players on both sides of the ball as well as LBs. I agree with Jon on PFF's skewing of Special teams players, which would cause some strange things as well if we leaned more heavily toward their grading system....

Re: 2022 Draft Format/Date
I love to draft, but I'm super busy right now, and have things scheduled for virtually every weekend in May. I'm going on a short vacation in June. That being said, I'm just one person, and I'll find a way to try my best to be around for picks, or will just have to do the dreaded auto draft. I hate...
