Re: 2024 Off-Season Update
We recently posted a poll about preferred start dates for free agency and the draft with options taking into consideration some of the GM check-in information for scheduling conflicts. So far, April 15th is a run-away leader for start of free agency with very few unconflicted dates in April. So that...

FREE AGENCY / DRAFT DATES 2024
We're in a tricky situation scheduling-wise as I look through the check-in reported conflicts. Of course we're never going to be able to accommodate for 192 teams across 6 leagues to find perfect dates that nobody has conflicts with, but my aim in asking for that information is to try to keep those ...

Re: 2024 Off-Season Update
I have turned GM check-ins on. It's very helpful for us if you can go to your team page and check in that you'll be back (or not) next season. Also leave a note if there are any major events that will leave you disconnected from the internet in April/May during free agency and the draft, and we'll t...

Re: 2024 Off-Season Update
With lots of NFL activity going on, we're getting closer to our off-season also. I am away at a business conference next week. I'll have a laptop and may do some updates here, but really aiming to get league finances turned over for the new league year this week as well as setting up GM check-ins. P...

Re: 2024 RULES: Max Picks
Since teams already have made trades involving the upcoming and following year draft, if a majority of people want limits imposed, I think it would probably be toward future seasons and especially not a draft coming up fairly quickly.

2024 RULES: Trade Flagging/Objections
As noted in the GM of the Year poll earlier this off-season, may look into adding some feedback mechanisms on trade transactions. One of those elements could even be the ability to flag trades that you don't believe should be allowed for whatever reason (massively lopsided in unfair manner, overly e...

2024 RULES: Max Picks
In some of the tanking discussions there was a suggestion about limiting the number of first round draft picks and overall pick totals. One suggestion was something like max 5 first round picks and 18 total picks. I'm never a fan of me having to manually monitor all teams and situations across all l...

2024 RULES: Anti-Tanking
I've had some messages this season about tanking or inactive teams. It's something that's come up over the years, but something difficult to resolve because the best answer is replacing an inactive or bad GM with a new person. If you don't have a big wait list of people ready to jump in, that's diff...

Re: 2024 RULES: Free Agency Bids (Backloaded/RB)
Commish, would it be a heavy lift to add a block on restructuring for any backloaded contract in the programming? No at the time of signing a back-loaded deal, it would just flip the switch saying it's restructured like we do with restructured contracts to prevent them from being restructured twice.

Re: 2024 RULES: Free Agency Bids (Backloaded/RB)
I don't have an issue keeping any of these very under-used options. It's less work to not change it. I do have a pretty major problem if we keep back-loaded for example and also allow back-loaded deals to be restructured the next year. It's kind of like there was a secret few knew that you could bid...
