Re: Week 1 rescheduled game

Didn't he say once the deadline hits (7 pm EDT), then he will begin contacting teams that may be MIA or over their cap/roster limit. Figure that will take a few days if not more if he has to replace GMs, may be another round of rating updates if EA publishes them, there are probably hundreds of play...

Re: Week 1 rescheduled game

Very unrealistic example, but point taken. Still feel we are likely to get a late start so being a week behind because of everything Troy has to do in a short period of time isn't a huge deal.

Re: Week 1 rescheduled game

What is the most dramatic change in a rating from a single week? I only have a year to go off of, but it seems rare ratings swing more than 3-4 points which is maybe a half grade (B to B+/-). On the other hand, I have UDFA's and younger players that made their rosters, but EA hasn't updated. Perhaps...

Re: Week 1 rescheduled game

Sounded like we may be delayed anyway as Troy tracks down non-compliant or inactive GMs. I don't really have players on either team, but doesn't seem like waiting to week 2 will be an issue so makes sense to me.

Re: 2017 Off-Season Update

Thanks Troy, that helps. I was having a hard time figuring out what was normal since last year was unique with the 2 new leagues and EA pushing roster updates more frequently. I also saw a bunch of roster updates which is also helpful. I was starting to get worried I would end up which a bunch of ro...

Re: 2017 Off-Season Update

When 9/7? Could matter. Someone above said typically the kickoff of the first game, but was hoping for something official. Thanks, but I've already submitted the updates and PM'd Troy about the player grades. We still have time, but the deadline is approaching and I have a lot to work out with my ro...

Re: 2017 Off-Season Update

In addition to the exact deadline for rosters being at 53, can we get an idea of when updates will occur? I have a handful of players that have been addd to IR according to spotrac.com, made a few waiver claims and cuts to the PS that hav not processed. I'm sure you will go through ratings again bef...

Re: Madden 18 Roster Spreadsheet

Yeah, same on EA's site. I haven't looked at that spreadsheet, but I know Jonathan Ford shows as R. Ford on EA's site as well (67) so must be listed as Rudy.

Re: Off-Season Rules Discussion - Open Mike

I probably missed it, but didn't see this on the old site. How much unspent cap space can a team carry over to the next year? Was just reading: "The cap floor is currently at 89%, which allows teams to pocket 11% of the allowed salary cap limit on a four-year average rather than spent it on pla...
