Re: 2016 RULES: Free Agency Adjustments
I don't like the new high salary floors on long term deals. I think the SB floors make more sense. Raising both though means that 6 year deals will require $5.6 mil per year of cap hit. I'd be fine with higher SB requirements so that long term deals have some repurcussions, but I also think I should...

Re: 2015 Off-Season Update
The changes sound great commish. One question. Let's say I cut a player to PS and someone else claims him. Then they cut him because they intended to practice squad him but got blocked. Can I claim that player on waivers to cut to PS again? Otherwise, it becomes a race to add the player to PS at the...

Re: 2015 RULES: Free Agency (UDFA)
I hear you about teams using their cap space, but one of the best ways to get yourself in trouble is to tie up your cap in bad contracts. I had 60 mil to spend in the AFFL this season. In some cases, I used it to secure players, but I wasn't going to give a ridiculous contract to a third tier player...

Re: 2015 Draft Date
I really wish we'd push the draft back a few days to a week next year. The early draft is interesting if you can watch the draft closely, but we have a lot of people here unable to do so. I had some family things this weekend that kept me from closely watching the draft, and I ran into a big problem...

RFA matching
Are we supposed to handle the pick exchange ourselves if an RFA offer is not matched or will the system do it?

Re: 2016 RULES: Peak Free Agency Changes
I'm really on the fence about restricting the max signing bonus, so I voted no for now. I think we would have to do it in terms of a percentage if we did. In the AFFL, I had a ton of cap room and a hole at WR, so I used a giant signing bonus to secure Vincent Jackson (2 year deal with $2,000,000 sal...

Re: 2015 RULES: Add another LTC, Restructure
No, it still thins the FA market, just years down the road. You already have the option to use the LTC on a player expiring this year or next. Adding a second resigning and putting no limits on it's use just messes things up more. I would have signed Russell Wilson to as long of an extension as allo...

Re: 2015 RULES: Free Agency (Anonymous Bidding)
To be clear, not calling Jared out there. Just meant as an example, since he's openly admitted to it here. I have no problem with it.

Re: 2015 RULES: Free Agency (Anonymous Bidding)
Why does it matter if you see who the snipers are? It won't stop Jared. Heck, it won't stop me if I think the player is going for too low a deal. I'd rather try to get him on my team at a given price. I also don't understand the problem people have with last minute bids. This isn't ebay where the la...

Re: 2015 RULES: Waivers / Practice Squad Suggestion
I think I am saying the same thing everyone else here is.
I love this idea. I just worry that it makes too much extra work.
