Re: 2010 RULES: Injury Adjustment
I think I was most worried about probable players (and the occasional questionable) taking a bigger hit due to some to some teams that mark everyone poorly. I have Indy in DFFL and I know at one point the real Colts marked like 1/3 the team as probable, so I was a bit afraid of how that would result...

Re: Trading the "rights" to players
In reality I know you can make a condition where you trade a rfa and let them come up with a deal with the new team before the trade goes through, but that is not exactly a possibility in this game, so I would have to say it is just not worth it.

Re: 2010 RULES: 2010 CAP
I personally would like to see the cap go up a little bit because a lot of us have back loaded contracts with players that could be tight if we hold the same cap or lower it. However, I think if we go up too high we just inflate the value of free agents because people will just spend more money on e...

Re: 2010 RULES: Waivers
I could see it making a difference if someone else big was cut during the season. Obviously if someone goes on waivers, only the lesser teams could have a shot at him. If the guy is a vet and becomes a UFA instead of hitting waivers, it would be an open bidding war for the guy, and he may be payed m...

Re: 2010 RULES: Player Contract Extensions
I think it would be possible to work out the real contract idea if everyone wanted to and there were guidelines put into effect. I am not sure Goddell would like this cause it just makes more work for him, but it is just some general thoughts. - If you could extend contracts, I agree that it should ...

Re: Waivers
Under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, from the beginning of the waiver system each year through the trading deadline (October 20, 2009), any veteran who has acquired four years of pension credit is not subject to the waiver system if the club desires to release him. After the trading deadline,...

Re: Private Messages
I cant speak for everyone, but at least for me, it also depends on how I read it. I sometimes check my email on my phone, and will click the link to see what the message says. If I need more than a few word answer, i just close it out and do not respond till I get to a pc and have a chance to open u...

He will be missed, he was a great QB. Now if only Favre could do the same!

Re: Initial Rosters - Now or Then?
I think for you, things need to be taken one step at a time. If it would be easier to just go with teams as they are now, that would be great with most of us I am sure. We can worry about draft/free agency next season. This would most likely be a test run for the simulator anyway.

Re: Upcoming FA
Do we know how we are going to handle the cap situation? I know some people inherited some rough situations (such as Dallas) where the real team was planning for the uncapped year and therefor built for a monster salary cap next year. I was wondering if we had any plans to raise the salary cap a lit...
