Re: Off-Season Rules Discussion
I have never had it where I got charged for full year salary during season. its always prorated. See Sloeter and Stringfellow on my roster for 2 examples. I have 2 offerings: I claimed a player off waivers late in the year and was charged that player’s salary for the whole year. We need to fix that....

Re: 2017 Off-Season Update
You all need to relax. The determining factor is guaranteed money. They are all 3 year standard deals of 465K, 555K, and 645K. No normal team in their right mind offers anymore. Most players get no signing bonus. Teams adding 18 players usually give 4-5 a bonus.

Re: 2017 Off-Season Update
Anybody giving 100K signing bonus to 1 player has too much cap room left. Back to my question way back. What do we do about ties? So if I'm understanding this correctly, the first person to offer 760k a year for 3 years and 100k in signing bonus will be guaranteed that player? Yeah, just like FA bid...

Re: 2016 RULES: Free Agency Adjustments
I don't like the higher contracts either. Let the market determine the salaries. LTC has already seen large increases. No more.

Re: 2017 compensatory picks can be traded
My bad. I just assumed that the last pick of the draft had to be a comp pick when it was traded. You are right again. Thanks Unless I missed it, I don't believe they were tradeable in this NFL draft that ended recently and we'll hold our version of in May (the link above was older). However, a rule ...

http://www.patspulpit.com/2015/12/5/9837490/nfl-will-allow-teams-to-trade-compensatory-picks-in-2017 So, in a year and a half... the nfl is going to allow comp picks to be traded. Just thought this info should be passed on. Actually they are allowed this year. Are we turning this option on for 2016...

Re: Potential rule discussion for the coming off season
Not enough players hitting free agency as it is. Like the efforts. Just not a fan of it. Then again what do I know, I only sign mostly Vikings.

Re: Rosters
I dont think there is anything to do about it right now. We are in the offseason, real NFL teams could fall under 53 at this time. But I think there are teams during the season that do not carry 53 the whole time. That is where the Minimum salary against the cap comes in, so it doesnt matter that t...
