Re: FREE AGENCY / DRAFT DATES 2023

I'd be cool with our draft lagging a day, or three behind the real draft (instead of weeks, or a month), but not interested in drafting before the real draft.

Re: FREE AGENCY / DRAFT DATES 2023

there is 200 days until the season starts. We could drag it out and do 2 picks per day all summer long. Gives plenty of time to do trades that way ;) no im not really in favor of this but we really could slow it down some and not hurt anything I'm now recanting my recommendation for Royce in AFFL. ...

Re: FREE AGENCY / DRAFT DATES 2023

The mystery that will never be solved. Why do people continuously vote for the draft to start so soon? For the love of God we have all summer to draft. I can't speak for anyone else, but for me the summer means graduations, vacations, and just being outside more often in most regions. Sure, I could...

Re: 2023 RULES: Trades covering portion of salary

I voted yes on this but I also agree there should be limits, and also it should be about individual players and not teams, let's say team A has only $30 million in cap space and team B has $150 million, even if there's a percentage of say a 25% cap, team A has $7.5 million it can allocate versus te...

Re: 2023 RULES: Trades covering portion of salary

I voted no, basically because too many GMs are constantly looking for loopholes to take advantage of the spirit of the game(can't prevent them all unfortunately). I can just see this getting out of hand quickly. Perhaps if it's limited then maybe. If not we will see even more ungodly FA contracts s...

Re: 2023 RULES: Trades covering portion of salary

I voted for the “yes but limit” because I think this option could incorporate some of the above concerns mentioned by others. The limit could be tied to how much cap space a team has before the trade, which could be a way to help encourage a cap floor. I'm the one who brought this to Troy, and in m...

Re: 2023 RULES: Bids

How often are you using your LTC's on these kind of players? You should be able to retain players rated this low via free agency. I believe the floor for the QB LTC's was put in place so that any QB worth signing a LTC wouldn't be giving a huge team friendly deal to the team. I think you could argu...
