Again, their stats are already used. Why wouldn’t their ratings if TE are? Wanna stop teams from scoring? Get a better secondary.

So how do you define an elite receiving back? I think it quickly becomes the TEWR argument down that road.

I think they should count. If a TE catching 40 passes a year can help a WR grade, why can’t a RB? I don’t care how often he splits out. Give me a previous season reception floor and I’m 100% on board. What’s fair…3 Rec/game? How many RB averaged that? Still traveling, so sorry if that’s rambling!

My only burning question on this is how much things get skewed by the large number of trades we see. Will that artificially deflate cost? My understanding was that the LTC process ignores signing bonuses for that reason, anyway.

I would love to see three options:

1. Decline 5th year option.
2. Pick up 5th year option as a one-year deal.
3. Pick up 5th year option and roll into LTC (extending maximum LTC to 6 years)
