If I'm not mistaken, I believe that there is now a minimum for time on a roster. I remember discussing it in the offseason, but don't remember what was decided. Too many people were signing a player for 1 game and then cutting them. So there may be a 2 or 3 game cap hit if you sign and cut. Not sure...
