Re: Suggesting some form of advice/caution for new GMs

My initial feeling is that it was lopsided. Time will tell and its only my opinion. Both of those trades look acceptable to me, particularly the Harvin deal. Thanks for the feedback. As I said, maybe you can can make an argument for that one. But the other one seems to me to be just plain bad. Chand...

Re: 2013 RULES: GM Accountability

CFFL Vikings went 13-3 with Christian Ponder, a great running game and an excellent defense. I won an AFFL Bowl with kerry collins rated C+ and no real game updates. You can definately win w/out a QB I'm gonna have to second Royce here & argue with this defeatist attitude that you can't win with...

CAP HIT VS SURCHARGE

I have heard for support for this before. So it's not a completely new idea. I am ok with teams being under 53 man roster during season although our CFFL players union would be up in arms over this. But the charge placed on the salary cap needs to have a hard charge applied for games the roster spot...

Re: FG%

Look at previous post, I gave you verbatim the drive chart in the SB for Baltimore. I am amazed no one has noticed this. Its been like this for 5-7 years if not more. I have not seen any rules where it is 18 yards rather than 17. I've only seen 17. If teams choose to use the extra yard for their pur...

Re: FG%

Its not a rule, it says "generally" in describing the process and formation of a FG, not right I might add. High school is the only fb that has a rule for yards behind center to take a snap to be considered in kick formation. All I am saying is the fact is, teams do 8 yards. For years, tea...

Re: FG%

I guarantee if you look at any box score drive chart, it will be 18 yards. When i searched for FG rules this is what I found... The kick is generally seven yards behind the line of scrimmage and the uprights are 10 yards behind the goal line, so add 17 yards to the line of scrimmage to come up with ...

Re: FG%

Yeah I'm with Ben here. To my knowledge you add 17 yards from the kicking distance, not 18. They have been doing 8 yards for 5+ years as the snap from that distance tends to land the laces perfectly forward so most of the time the holder only has to place the ball down. HERE: Baltimore started at t...

Re: FG%

Not sure what is needed. All i know is Blair Walsh set a record for 50 yard kicks and didnt attempt any let alone make some(read later as I did some research). That may be a product of my running game not getting stuck so far out. A closer look shows MN passed up a FG of 52-54 yds 8 times. Stats als...

FG%

You better take a look at FG% for kickers. CFFL had 13 kickers at 100% while the only one in the NFL was Kaeding who was only 7-7. Just something to point out.
