New baseball league starting
I've been asked by one of the creators of a new sim baseball league to announce that we are looking for a few GMs. The league will be a complex league (40-man rosters, options for reserve roster, etc), so please make sure you have a good understanding of those rules if you wish to apply. These types...

Franchise signing issue
I don't have an issue if a Marshall Yanda trade has been agreed to in AFFL, but to believe he's going to sign a contract BELOW the franchise tender level and WITHOUT a signing bonus is absurd. The contract isn't agreed to yet, but nothing below the franchise signing options on these players should b...

The point is the least you should be able to do is field a 53 man team to be considered an active and participating GM. So you can call it punishment, but I see it as an incentive to encourage GMs to do so. Unless we take a hard stance and say you have to have a full team to remain a GM in these le...

Re: 2014 RULES: Free Agency Changes
If we are going to do this we should implement it next season and perfect it throughout the season. No point in rushing something that may have flaws right away. Disagree on this. Any code is going to have flaws and we'll only figure them out by using it. If Troy feels comfortable that he has the t...

Re: 2014 RULES: Minimum Salaries
That's what I was thinking, but obviously an important strategy issue in trading/FA planning right now.Onyxgem wrote: I would think that it would have to be just going forward.

Re: 2014 RULES: Minimum Salaries
Would we go back and change existing deals, or would this just be for contracts going forward?

Re: CAP HIT FOR OPEN ROSTERS
I think we should move the minimum to the veteran minimum. At least that would force GMs to get off their duff and fill the spot with someone (assuming a rookie at a lower salary).
