But we need to have a simple and objective system for people to be evaluated under. The idea I've floated in the past is a requirement of at least 10 wins over 3 seasons - so a GM must beat an average of 3.33 wins a year. This would keep most people in the league and only eliminate the worst of the worst - probably only those that are legitimately bad instead of just unlucky.

I envision the CFFL, DFFL, and future leagues becoming a proving ground where GMs can practice their skills. I also would like some of those GMs to take on scouting roles or assistant GM roles with teams in the AFFL. People with scouting experience in the AFFL and experience as a GM in the "minor" leagues would be first in line to be hired as new GMs in the AFFL when openings come up.

Summary: make the AFFL like the NFL with performance requirements and multi-person front offices.
I think this would sound like a fair system to me. I would love to add some scouts haha and maybe give me a board room come draft day. Every GM should be able to get 10 wins in 3 years and if they don't, they can find themselves in the minors once again trying to prove themselves.

I would be open to coming on as a "scout" or "assistant gm" for someone in the AFFL if they would want that.

The problem I see with that if you were in the AFFL then you wouldnt be able to have teams in other leagues and have scouts/Assistant GMs. It would create conflict of interest.
DFFL - DAL 09-20: 113-63 .642 (6-5) 3X DIV Champs. 6 Playoff apps. DFFL Bowl I Champs
CFFL - NYG 10-12: 34-13-1 .708

FFFL - PIT 16-17: 45-19 .703 (3-3) '16-18 Div, 16' AFC Champs

Conflict of interest can be waived by the parties involved. I'm willing to give out some of my secrets, and my draft board, if the scout is good enough.

Well what I was talking about was if you have a team in the DFFL and I have a team in the DFFL and I become your scout. Well if I am telling you I think the best prospects and the reasons you now have a good idea what my draft strategy is going to be come the DFFL draft and could pick a guy that I valued that you wouldn't have otherwise.

And that's a conflict that can be waived. If you want to keep your thoughts private out of fear I would use them against you, then don't take a scout job. It's no different from people serving as Co-GMs. It is just a slightly different structure and brings the concept into the AFFL.

I'm also willing to take on a scout or scouts. I'm gonna try and make a chat room somewhere that'll be like a board room for my team. I'll make a blog post as well describing what I am looking for.

Your right I would not A-GM/Scout for someone that had a team in a league with me but you want to make it a requirement to get a team in the AFFL which I also disagree with. If you have proven that you have what it takes in the Cffl or Dffl why do you need to be a scout for an Affl team to have the required experience?
