2017 compensatory picks can be traded

So, in a year and a half... the nfl is going to allow comp picks to be traded. Just thought this info should be passed on.

Actually they are allowed this year. Are we turning this option on for 2016 draft life NFL?

Unless I missed it, I don't believe they were tradeable in this NFL draft that ended recently and we'll hold our version of in May (the link above was older). However, a rule was passed to allow them starting in 2017 and we'll likely follow that same change. It was more difficult to make them untradable, but will take a little tweaking to change that, but I imagine it's doable for 2017 draft.

Well, at least I should have a late 3rd rounder from Justin Houston next year at a minimum.

My bad. I just assumed that the last pick of the draft had to be a comp pick when it was traded. You are right again. Thanks
