With such an influx of new GMs, I think we'll be able to create two new leagues here prior to the NFL season starting. Based upon the new league sign-ups, I've created this tentative list below of team assignments for the two leagues. If you notice something odd, let me know before we finalize it this week.

Anyone new without a team who signed up and entered their team preferences should have a team now. Anyone who clicked to donate as part of the signup should also have a team. That left about a handful of other existing GM spots. With the NFL pre-season game tie-breaker question being cancelled, I had to use some other methods of deciding those spots which included number of teams already (preference to teams with none or just one team instead of multiple teams already), already part of an elite league or not (preference to those not promoted into AFFL already), sim team performance, and league activity levels.

If you're an existing GM who wanted another team and didn't get one, with so many new GMs added now it's quite possible that some won't show up so we may have to do some last minute GM replacements so it's possible you may still get a team at some point with many more potential openings being created across 5 leagues now.

This week I'll be working on setting up league forums for group discussions about these new leagues, contacting these individuals, making sure everyone understands the game, working up a schedule, and getting the team rosters set.

I'm not sure if I should be checking in here but I'm ready for the FFFL, thank you for putting all of this together

I'm guessing once there is a league page we will all be checking in on our team page like we do at the beginning of each season.

Yeah, for the new people you don't need to check-in just yet. You can visit the site and look for new messages posted, but this weekend I'll try to get some team roster pages going and those will have an automated check-in form so we'll know who all has been to their team roster page, reviewed it, and ready to go.

So nothing to do quite yet as I'm still getting things setup, but hopefully will have some check-in instructions this weekend. Thanks!
