Thanks for this.

Out of curiosity, would it be difficult to get player age inserted into a new column? Just not sure how you pulled it into Google docs so thought I would see if it would be an easy add. If not, no worries.
EFFL - Steelers

I actually found this on Twitter, so I can't take any credit for it.

Thank you for posting Steve, much easier to decipher rather than going to madden itself, with my slow computer and everything. A lot of my players ratings fell on average of a couple of points, being a new GM is this the norm? A couple of other teams in CFFL I decided to research and found the same thing. Just curious...Brian (KC)

madden must have tweaked there rating system because I also noticed that their doesn't seem to be as many 90's and lots of players seem lower rated all together then even the end of last year.

I noticed that too. Hardly anyone went up or stayed the same. They all mostly went down a bit, even the younger players.

Individual ratings have not been lowered but there algorithm has definitely been adjusted to lower overall ratings.

Spreadsheet of changes are released every week when there is an update. Aside from the Madden 17 website you can check out Pastapadre's site. Here is a link regarding the ratings drop across the board:

OK - Newbie question: Based on discussion, I'm assuming that Madden is the official source of ratings. Are the mismatches between the Madden spreadsheet and the numbers listed in the rosters simply due to the fact that there's no good reason to update until we start playing games? That makes sense, but I just want to be certain. Ratings seem important :ugeek:

Yes, I haven't uploaded new grades yet. All the grades shown now are as they were at the end of last season. After I get through the new league setup/draft, we'll clear out all the current grades in our system and upload the new grades for the new season.
