Just wanted to say thank you Troy as well, I know you have a lot going on and juggling things around is trying at times. One quick question, when can LTC's be signed for 2018? Thanks again...Brian

Thanks! If you mean for the 2018 season (not this current season starting in 2017 through now), our rosters would be locked after the season concludes here soon, and then we'll have some off-season rules discussions and setup the league for the new league year finances, then unlock the team rosters prior to this off-season's free agency ahead. Once those new league year rosters re-open, everyone will be reset with LTC limits for the new season and can sign those. Hopefully sometime here in April we'll be in business for the new league year.

Thanks for a great season. All the league champions have been crowned. Here's what's next.

We'll start up off-season rules discussions soon.

I'll also work to transition to new league year finances as well as looking into team openings. If you know people who would like to play, have them register for an account and post on the wait-list thread to get their name in the mix if openings.

I expect rosters will re-open for the new league year later in April (depending upon rules discussions and changes needed) and hopefully free agency also starting in April.

Our sim draft will be after the NFL draft, but exact time dependent upon other factors. Probably a little later than usual after the draft.

I know it's not going to be a popular statement, but I'm ok with moving our draft well into May. I think we want to delegate plenty of time to the early phases of the off-season (Free Agency, trades, etc). We are basically 2 weeks away from the real life draft, so it will probably be late April before we even get to Free Agency. I also don't see much difference between having draft early May (close to NFL draft) like we normally do or having it late May (closer to June).

I agree with this. Let's not rush things.

I don't mind our Free Agency taking place later not so much because of time restraints but you get a barometer of what contracts are going for this 2018 season for players who signed. Gives teams time to put a strategy together on who they will attempt to sign and for how much.

Just FYI we're in the process of upgrading to 2018 league finances and new year rosters. Just about done with that, so let me know if big problems noticed.

Didn't we vote to carry over 10 million dollars of salary cap.

It passed 37-22 to change it to $10M vs $5M. Hopefully just an easy fix for Troy
