no im not really in favor of this but we really could slow it down some and not hurt anything
I'm now recanting my recommendation for Royce in AFFL.

Thanks for the feedback. These were by far the most popular choices:

Free Agency: Sunday AM 4/23
Draft: Saturday AM 5/6

So let's plan on that.

Decisions on tags have to be made prior to free agency start. Same with LTCs for pending free agents. Once it starts I’ll remove that option from the roster page. As we may be scrambling for gms depending upon if new guys get back to me, might have some late switches to ensure all teams good to go.

Sounds good.

How about the trade tool? Do you anticipate opening that up before the start of free agency?

Yes, but I have to finish draft orders and compensatory picks so when teams can trade it’ll say exactly what pick and no confusion or issues there. Definitely before free agency. Aiming for Friday pm.

I have always been a proponent of having the Draft here before the real NFL Draft. I know that's not for everybody, but maybe we could consider that in the future for the first two rounds of the AFL. That is our league of elite GMs after all and I feel it would really separate the men from the boys so to speak.

I assume not all of us have a full scouting department like a NFL team. I and I will assume again that others use the actual NFL draft as some sort of a baseline for where players are selected in our FanGM drafts. I know personally I incorporate the actual NFL draft order into my big board.

I would be very against this idea for these reasons.
BRFL Saints (31-20) (3-0)
- NFCS Champ: 23’
- NFC Champ: 23’
- SB Champ 23’
AFFL Patriots (97-82) (8-4)
-AFCE Champ: 16', 22’, 23’
-AFC Champ: 22’
-SB Champ: 22’
DFFL Jets - SB Champ 21’ & 22’
FFFL Jets - SB Champ 17’ & 18’

I agree with Tino. I incorporate the NFL Draft into my board (were actually selected, which real GMs I trust, etc). I am strongly opposed to having our draft before the real one.
