There's a lot of work I want to do in the roster management tools to ensure more accurate salary cap estimates for potential moves and limit more cases of teams creating problems that are difficult to dig out of financially, but hopefully can get trading open a bit before FA.

Can we get an updated schedule? Are we close to opening trades and declaring tags?

Not quite sure yet. Still have to put in a waiver system before unfreezing rosters and letting players be cut again. I've contacted the GMs who haven't checked in yet, and ready to replace them but very few people who were on the wait list or registered before have responded to my PM and separate emails. If you know of somebody who signed up and was interested before, now is the time we'll fill those teams and they'd want to get back on the forum and contact me to let me know they are interested. There are a couple new guys, but more openings which I'd like to get more new players involved. If they want a team, now is the time those get filled so let them know to contact me ASAP or they'll be re-assigned otherwise.

I'm thinking we could possibly turn on trades and cuts again this weekend (for those with trades already worked out and wanting to get entered) and perhaps free agency next week but not ready to commit to that just yet until the loose ends tied up.

I now have it working where teams can set their franchise/transition tagged players and RFA compensation levels on their team roster pages. Look at the bottom of the page and it should give you those options. Let me know if you have any problems.

The timeline to start free agency will be dependent upon getting all the teams to set their free agency tender levels and getting all open teams filled.

If you think you may want to give up one of your teams to a new (or existing) GM, don't make any tagging/RFA decisions but contact me and we'll switch ownership of the team and let the new GM make those decisions.

The GM Directory will mark which teams have set their tag/rfa players (if they have any).

Remember that teams have big advantages (unlimited bidding) to sign their own UFA's, so despite them being on the market and available for other teams to bid be very cautious before using an expensive franchise/transition tag and the top 5/10 salary.

If you are new to the league and unsure of ANYTHING, PLEASE contact me with any questions or post a message on the forum. I'll be glad to help. Thanks!

Have we set a date for when Roster Bonuses will be paid? Also, and new updates on when trading and roster changes (cutting, etc) will become available again?

Do we now have two franchise player designations? One exclusive and one non-exclusive?

Just one that's either or. You just choose whether your one Franchise player is exclusive or non-exclusive.
