Couple of Glitches

Michael Campanaro is on IR in real life and is not on my depth chart but he caught 2 passes returned a kick and ran the ball once.

The second is that Cam Newton's target completions percentage went up throughout the game.

Last pass of the 1st Half

0:56 | 2 and 10 @ 31 (31)... Cam Newton (9-for-17 129 yds | 53%:51) passes complete to Martellus Bennett for 9 yards. TIMEOUT Washington (1 left)

1st Pass of the 3rd Qtr

8:51 | 3 and 13 @ 25 (75)... Cam Newton (10-for-19 140 yds | 53%:54) passes complete to Martellus Bennett for 11 yards.

And then mid drive in the 4th

8:15 | 2 and 6 @ 24 (76)... Cam Newton (17-for-30 257 yds | 57%:54) passes complete to Chris Ivory for 16 yards.
8:08 | 1 and 10 @ 40 (60)... Michael Campanaro runs for 5 yards (1-5yds | 5 ave:4.5).
7:39 | 2 and 5 @ 45 (55)... Incomplete pass.
7:30 | 3 and 5 @ 45 (55)... Cam Newton (18-for-32 263 yds | 56%:60) passes complete to Jeremy Kerley for 6 yards.

Does our statistics that we input break down completion percentage per quarter? I will be honest I don't read the sims very closely most of the time so this maybe how it has always been but I didn't notice.

I just clicked on the Ten @ NO game and found this on the last drive of the game

3:21 | 3 and 7 @ 43 (43)... Joe Flacco (28-for-41 258 yds | 68%:68) passes complete to Lance Moore for 1 yards.
3:12 | 4 and 6 @ 42 (42)... Going for it on 4th down... incomplete pass.
Ball turned over on downs.
3:12 | 1 and 10 @ 42 (42)... LeGarrette Blount runs for 2 yards (33-147yds | 4.5 ave:3). TIMEOUT Tennessee (2 left)
3:07 | 2 and 8 @ 44 (44)... Andrew Luck (20-for-32 213 yds | 63%:62) passes complete to Cordarrelle Patterson for 9 yards.
2:57 | 1 and 10 @ 47 (53)... Incomplete pass.
2:18 | 2 and 10 @ 47 (53)... Andrew Luck (21-for-34 233 yds | 62%:62) passes complete to Knowshon Moreno for 20 yards.
2:12 | 1 and 10 @ 27 (73)... Andrew Luck (22-for-35 244 yds | 63%:62) passes complete to Frankie Hammond for 11 yards. TWO-MINUTE WARNING
2:00 | 1 and 10 @ 16 (84)... Andrew Luck (23-for-36 260 yds | 64%:62) passes complete to Jermaine Gresham for 16 yards.
TOUCHDOWN New Orleans!! New Orleans 32 to Tennessee 13

The kickoff goes deep into the endzone for a touchback.
1:48 | 1 and 10 @ 80 (80)...
1:48 | 1 and 10 @ 20 (80)... Joe Flacco (29-for-43 263 yds | 67%:60) passes complete to Rob Gronkowski for 5 yards.

Flacco's Percentage went down for only that drive.

Someone has to play. Not sure if it applies to your team or not, but in general if a team has a ton of injuries or lack of depth with no bench players with stats, it's going to pull up someone into game action anyway because it need bodies. By default that's players with actual stats. If nobody on the team has stats then it's someone random. Maybe something to polish in the future but for the purpose of actual results if a player has no stats their name is actually meaningless. I know people imagine the real guy doing things, but to the sim it's a nameless random player with no stats. No matter the random name, the results the same.

RE: Does our statistics that we input break down completion percentage per quarter? I will be honest I don't read the sims very closely most of the time so this maybe how it has always been but I didn't notice.

No. Just overall completion percentage. If you're seeing that target percentage in parenthesis change, that's usually due to the player exceeding their game update and being given a default value going forward. So if a player has a 2-for-2 game input, we don't have them throw 40-for-40 in the sim using 100% all the time all game. They get the 100% for 2 throws. After that it goes to a default value. Those target percentages can also shift for other reasons such as a QB not hitting his game update on TDs yet so gets a performance boost as the game goes along working toward the inputs.

Ah ok thanks for the response. I just didn't know if it was supposed to do that or not.

Makes sense for both things to happen.

Just 2 oddities in my AFFL game (http://www.fangm.com/football/game.php?id=56) this week.

Tevin Coleman was named "Tevin - INJURED Coleman" every play even though he was fine

Shows 2 TDs for Fitzpatrick & 1 running for Jordan Howard but the score was only 17-0.

The play by play glitch for 2 Fitzpatrick TDs is here:

9:06 | 4 and 16 @ 12 (12)... Ryan Allen punts the ball 45 yards (49.5:45)
Eddie Royal returns the ball 38 yards.
8:16 | 1 and 10 @ 19 (19)... Fitzpatrick throws a 19 yard TOUCHDOWN to Eddie Royal!

8:06 | 1 and 10 @ 19 (19)... Justin Forsett runs for 5 yards (3-8yds | 2.7 ave:4).
7:44 | 2 and 5 @ 14 (14)... Tevin - INJURED Coleman runs for 7 yards (1-7yds | 7 ave:2.7).
7:22 | 1 and 7 @ 7 (7)... Jordan Howard runs for 2 yards (1-2yds | 2 ave:2.4).
6:50 | 2 and 5 @ 5 (5)... Penalty on NY Giants.
6:50 | 2 and 15 @ 15 (15)... Justin Forsett runs for 4 yards (4-12yds | 3 ave:4).
6:28 | 3 and 11 @ 11 (11)... Fitzpatrick throws a 11 yard TOUCHDOWN to Terrance Williams!

TOUCHDOWN NY Giants!! NY Giants 7 to Dallas 0

I assume he really only had 1 since possession never changed. Not really a big deal but I guess it could have been since his RL TD count was 2 and this shows he met the 2 TDs even though he didn't.
