Secondary Depth Chart Question

Post by sportznut »

On my current roster, I have the following in my secondary:

Devin McCourty (S/CB)- 89 OV
Marcus Williams (S)- 85
Marcus Peters (CB)- 82
James Bradberry (CB)- 80
Orlando Scandrick (CB)- 72

This, of course, doesn't include the injured Derwin James.

But when I go to my depth chart grade for the secondary, it states you must have 2 safeties, 2 CBs, and one backup, which I do.

Yet, Bradberry is listed as my backup, and a default "safety" with only a 2 is part of my grade.

Scandrick, while his grade is low, its still a 5.2. Its not included in my grade at all.

Why is this? Is it an error?

Teams that believe they have an error on their average scores can send me a PM. I can add them to a short-list of noted situations to double-check. I can manually update an average grade prior to simming. Positional flexibility adds quite a bit of complication and sometimes the programming doesn't slot everyone optimally if they end up in one of their eligible positions versus the other. Typically outside of extreme roster situations when it is forced to use an ungraded player, those end up being .1 or no difference in the average unless it moves it enough to change the rounding, but I can double-check for teams with noted issues. I'll add this to the list.
