Halftime

Post by tkienast »

Noticed this sequence in my week 9 game: Score is 3-0 right before halftime.

A.J. Jefferson returns the ball 2 yards.
1:13 | 1 and 10 @ 17 (17)... Daniel Thomas runs for -1 yards (6-6yds | 1 ave:1).
0:38 | 2 and 11 @ 16 (16)... Ben Roethlisberger (7-for-18 86 yds | 39%:39) passes complete to Santonio Holmes for 6 yards.
0:08 | 3 and 5 @ 22 (22)... Incomplete pass.
0:01 | 4 and 5 @ 22 (22)... Tim Masthay punts the ball 59 yards Micheal Spurlock returns the ball 5 yards.
0:00 | 1 and 10 @ 24 (76)...

In a tight game, I'm surprised the team attempted a pass right before halftime, when they were that deep in their own territory instead of running out the clock.

Is this something that can even be adjusted?

Baltimore still had 3 timeouts...they could have called one if you ran it for like 1 yard or something
